Act, 2

Act, 2 is a poetry collection written by Christopher Cervantes Dunn that explores vulnerability, transformation, and emotional depth. Kelder Media partnered closely with the author to create all photography and art content for the book, aiming to develop striking visuals that felt as honest and expressive as the poetry itself.

Through an extensive, multi-faceted process rooted in active listening and reading, creative collaboration, and candid, dynamic photography, Ben Schotman translated the written work into a visual experience that enhances and echoes the emotional journey of each written work. Every image was designed not just to accompany the text, but to amplify its impact, creating a seamless connection between language and imagery. Resulting in a published book that feels unified in voice and vision, where each photo deepens the reader's connection to the work. Act, 2 stands as a testament to the power of thoughtful, intuitive image-making and the magic that can emerge from trusting the creative process.

Hands Off! Protest

In April 2025, Kelder Media served as official press for the Hands Off! protests, a nationwide movement defending bodily autonomy and civil rights, specifically speaking out against Elon Musk’s influence on the Trump Administration and the current state of the United States government. Embedded on the ground, I documented the protests in real time, capturing raw, unfiltered moments of solidarity, resistance, and urgency. My approach was rooted in trust, respect, and active presence, allowing the creation of visuals that were both emotionally honest and historically significant without disrupting the flow of the event.

The resulting photography was used for live updates, press coverage, and archival documentation, providing organizers with imagery that honored the movement’s spirit without sensationalizing it. This project reflects Kelder Media’s belief in the power of storytelling as both activism and art: to experience a powerful moment, amplify those voices and messages, and preserve the truth of a moment as it unfolds.
